At Row’xford they don’t see the point in learning things that aren’t useful in life, that’s why they have assembled a legendary troupe of party professors to deliver the ultimate curriculum.
What is Pi? Who really cares, all we know is its edible – come and join us for the ultimate Pi eating contest - and if Math’s isn’t really your thing, why not sign up to one of our physical education classes with everyone’s favourite drunk PE Teacher - Miss Mimosa, who will be leading students in classes of Hip Hop Aerobics and Disco Dodgeball.
And for all those students who work hard, they will be rewarded by receiving their very own Bachelor of Row – You’re parents will be so proud!
And if that’s not enough –all of this educational excitement will be accompanied by the sounds of infamous DJ Mikey Snooze – this is a school disco you are not going to want to miss!
THE JAIL
Watch out! The elrow Town Fun Police will be on patrol, making sure everyone is having fun and rewarding those who are doing it best.
Rumour has it that somewhere in the town there is a secret party, a place where those who know how to have a good time are being taken…
A group of inmates that goes by the name of the Jailhouse Funk Krew (JFK) has managed to smuggle in a sound system and is throwing a serious party – get ready to get down to the sounds of Figures – Discobar Eclectica - Da Boy Conny – Hone - Marlijn
This is the only town where you might just want to GO TO JAIL!
THE FIRE STATION
There has been an explosion at the fire station and the foam canisters have popped! – oh well, the only sensible thing to do is… to throw a foam party of course!
Step into the elrow Town Fire Station and you will find yourself in the middle of a multicoloured foam extravaganza! Join in the madness and prepare to get wet and wild to the sounds of the infamous Rene Opsedee – who will be smashing out a whole heap of pop bangers and guilty pleasures for you to get down and soapy in the suds with.
THE WUNDERGROUND AMBULANCE
This year at elrow Town Antwerp we are lucky enough to be joined by renowned electronic music satire blog and social media heavyweights – Wunderground, who will be debuting their ambulance stage at this year's festival. Not only will they be providing an exciting lineup of international DJs, but they will also be hosting a 24-hour online takeover that will see them host live video-streamed radio shows from inside the van from the pre-party to the main event. And if this wasn’t exciting enough for you, they are going to attempt to break a Guinness World Record live on air and they want you to be a part of it! This is one not to miss!
Games
Wack-a-mowles!
A team of 8 people will be participating in this game. The person selected will be the farmer and the 7 others will be the moles! The farmer's goal is to wack the max. number of moles in the time limit. For every mole you hit you get 1 elrow Town dollar. With this, you will get a round of shots for the whole team of moles. ;)
Elrow Carnival Game
5 in 1! Our gymkhana with 5 faces. We need 2 teams of 3 people who will go through all the challenges. The winner will get a prize!
Hungry Rowers
In this game, we need a participant for every single colour. The player who steals the most balls and brings them back to the base will win a row prize.
Pirate Dart Board
Our referees will choose 2 teams of 3 people. The team will have to kick their way into the pirate's holes. The team who has the most holes will win the loot!
Limbow
The game referee chooses a difficulty: He will be able to modify the height of our limbow according to the abilities of our participants. The challenge is to get through the limbow without touching it! Extra points for doing it with style...
Rowanair
Our referees will select 2 teams of 3 people. Every team will have to pull from opposite directions. The team who is able to drag the plane the furthest from the starting point wins! The prize is a round of special juices ( shots of special juice or tickets, depending on the festivals)
