After the last 2 years' sold out festivals in London, Antwerp and Amsterdam, Rowgelia appointed her party loving parents; Rowdrigo and Rowsario, to help her out and choose a new location for elrow Town - and they chose The Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh! As the new mayors of elrow Town Edinburgh, Rowdrigo and Rowsario have some amazing plans in store!

This is a daytime event. Gates open at 12.00pm (midday) Last entry is 5.00pm. The event finishes at 23.00

NO PARKING
Please do not drive as there is no parking on site.
LOTHIAN BUSES
Lothian will run a special service for elrow Town Edinburgh, taking you straight to the Royal Highland Centre. Look out for the bus number 98 that leaves frequently from St Andrew Square.
Departures from St Andrew Square, north side:
Times: 1130, 1200, 1220, 1240, 1255, 1310 then every 8-10 minutes until 1645.
Departures from Royal Highland Centre, north gate:
Times: 1300 then every 30 minutes until 1930, 1945 then every 15 minutes until 2200, 2210 then every 5-10 minutes until 2345.
Our bus will take you straight to the afterparty at Why Not in George Street!

All taxi, coach, bus and car pick up and drop off at the event will take place in the ‘North Car park’. Please use the following postcode for navigation - EH28 8AU
PAYMENTS ON SITE
We will be operating a tokens system. Bars will ONLY accept tokens, except for the VIP bar which will take cash/card. You can purchase your tokens with cash or card in multiples of £10 only. Please note traders do NOT accept tokens. Tokens are not refundable. Please look after your tokens – we cannot take responsibility for damaged or lost tokens. The cloakroom, merchandise and some of the food outlets will accept cash and debit / credit cards. Cash machines will be provided on site.

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
elrow Town is being filmed, live streamed and photographs will be taken across the weekend. Smile!
SUBSTANCE POLICY
Drugs and psychoactive substances are illegal and strictly prohibited on site. We will be conducting thorough entry searches, and anybody found in possession of controlled substances will be refused admission without refund and handed over to the police.
Whilst we uphold a zero tolerance policy, should anybody begin to feel unwell as a result of substance misuse, we urge them to contact our specially-trained staff without fear of judgement.
There will be an onsite welfare facility as well as a designated medics room, where our staff can assist people with issues such as substance awareness, mental health and any other issues. They also support people with existing health conditions who wish to attend but may find they need additional support.
FACILITIES ON SITE
MEDICAL AND WELFARE
If at any point during the event you feel that you or anybody else needs medical assistance, please make your way to Welfare to seek help immediately. Our qualified medical team will be on hand to help, whether you or any of your friends feel unwell, or even if you just need to escape the crowd for a time out. To locate the Welfare area, have a look at the event map, keep your eyes peeled for signage, or ask any member of staff who will be more than happy to assist.
CLOAKROOM
There is a cloakroom available on site which will be charging a small amount for leaving items. It will take cash and card but NOT tokens. Please bear in mind that the organiser holds no responsibility for the items left in the cloakroom.
FOOD & DRINK
No food can be taken into the festival. There will be a wide-variety of food traders catering to a various dietary requirements. Free water is available at dedicated water points. Feel free to bring a reusable water bottle (not glass) Traders will accept cash/card but not tokens.
CIGARETTES
There will be units selling tobacco products on site.
LOST PROPERTY
If you find or lose anything, head straight down to the Info Point/Cloakroom where all lost property will be taken to and logged in.
If you discover you have lost any property once you have left the event site, the lost property will be taken and logged into Corstophine Police Station on Sunday 28th of July. The address is 28 Meadowplace Road,, Edinburgh EH12 7TZ
Our lost property procedure is once an item is found it gets handed into the production office where it is logged and stored. People who have lost an item will need to go to cloakroom and describe the item. Cloakroom will radio the production office with the description and if we have a matching item a member of the production team will hand over the item, the person receiving the lost property will need to sign out the property to ensure it gets logged on our sheet that the item has been collected. Any unclaimed lost property will be handed into the police station after the event. elrow will communicate the lost property plan to customers in advance.
MISSING MOBILE PHONES
It'll come as no surprise that phone thieves and pickpockets target large events. Please be super careful with your bags and phones and follow the advice below:
- Do NOT put your phone in your back pocket.
- Do NOT put your phone in your bag unless you know it is safe from pickpockets. Remember that thieves are highly skilled at opening zips and clasps.
- Do NOT hand your phone to a stranger to take a photo of you and your friends.
- People will be searched at random as they exit should we receive any reports of mobile phone theft and a corresponding description of a potential thief.

There are plenty of cash machines on site - have a look at the event map to locate them.

If you cannot find the email with your ticket - Please log in to the site you bought them from and you can download them from there. Any further problems please contact the ticketing site directly.
ID AND TICKET SCANNING
Please ensure you bring your ticket either printed or as an e-ticket on your phone. To enable a speedy check in, please turn the brightness up on your phone all the way to help our scanners to read the barcode. Please ensure you bring photographic ID, please note only a valid passport or valid driving licence will be accepted forms of ID.

ACCESSIBILITY
Designated disabled parking spaces are available to customers within the North Car Park. Flat and hard-standing routes link the car park to the Lowland Hall and The Green. The route and entrance to the Hall and Green are fully accessible & wheelchair friendly. There are accessible toilet facilities are available along the Eastern Wall and within the West foyer. A newly installed adult changing place is available to customers who require this facility in the adjacent Highland Hall.

How do I find my way around the festival?
There will be signage to point you in the direction of toilets, bars, food stalls and more. There is also a site map available on our Facebook event / website.
Can we camp at elrow Town Edinburgh?
No - this is a one day, non-camping event.
What items are not allowed in the festival?
Aerosols, alcohol, any items that could be considered as a weapon, excessive amounts of cigarettes, fireworks or flares, glass, illegal substances, large umbrellas or flagpoles, legal highs, medication (unless cleared with us in advance), nitrous oxide, portable lasers or pens, smoke canisters, spray cans, thick pens (sharpies, permanent markers etc), reflective / high vis jackets.
